Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I have been reading and enjoying the posts on the forum for many months now. Started wearing the kilt over 30 years ago, playing with a pipe band as a teen. I have an 8-yard heavyweight traditional kilt in (Red) MacRae, knife-pleated to the sett; recently acquired a 4-yard box-pleated to the stripe kilt from Matt Newsome in regimental weight Black Watch; also have a belted plaid in Black Watch. Mostly wear the kilt when piping, some re-enacting and occasionally "just because". Thought it was high time I finally said "Hello"!

As Macman has stated, "Happy St. Patricks Day"!!! And welcome to the rabble from Snellville Georgia!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Happy St. Paddy's Day. Going out in the kilt tonight for the first time.
May you live as long as you want,
And never want as long as you live.
