    Hello

    Hi Everyone,

I am new here and just thought I would say hello! I live in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. I am interested in learning how to make kilts, and am just open to any suggestions.

    Mary

As a start, may I suggest you find a copy of "The Art of Kiltmaking" by Barb Tewksbury. Barb T is a member here and you may find her ad on the right side ad banner.

This is the definitive printed work and teaches the school of kiltmaking taught at Gordon & sons.

Then perhaps you may wish to look at some of the kiltmaking courses taught around the world.
There is our own X Marks sponsored Kilt Kamp taught by Barb T and myself.
There are also courses in Edinburgh & Nova Scotia you may like.

All the best for the kilt-making. Look forward to seeing pics.

You have just discovered one of the things about X Marks that puts it head and shoulders above the normal internet site. We like to be civil and treat each other kindly and with respect.
