Hello To ALL
Hi, my name is Doug Rennie and I found this site because my wife sat next to one of your members (our) on MARTA...sorry...for those of you outside of Atlanta, MARTA is our rapid (Sometime) transportation system. Anyway by the time they had reached their destination she had his business card and this web-site. She knows I'm interested in my Scottish Heritage. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and immigrated to this country with my parents, aunt, uncle, cousin and brother we left a large part of our family behind which is a GREAT reason to visit from time to time. My wife and I live outside Atlanta and have one daughter who is in her second year at the University Of Georgia. We are both retired however something happened to the wiring in my wife's brain and she took another job. Not me...I play golf...or I should say I TRY to play. Sorry if I carried on a bit.....Doug

Welcome from Roswell Georgia! It was a pleasure meeting Renata on the train. Obviously you didn't bust her for letting a perfect stranger driver to the park-and-ride. I hope you can make it to the kilt nite October 11 at the Harp. It's my son's birthday so I may have to show up late, but the offer of a loaner kilt stands if I can fit you into one of mine. Sporran and hose as well. We want our new members to feel right at home.
cheers
