Hello all,
I left a longer intro message just now and it didn't take, so I'll try again much more abbreviated.
I'm Stephen Robillard (Murray/Daugherty mother's side) and I'm a musician from Northampton, MA, USA.
Let's see if this takes.
(Just ordered my first kilts last week - Murray of Atholl and MAcPherson.)
Best to all,
Stevie

Hello,
Well, I'm still brand new to this site, but I appreciate the couple of greetings I've gotten. I'm just a guy, who has always loved his Scots/Irish side of the family, and now feel proud and crazy enough to wear a kilt properly to display this pride.
As far as just "picking up" the bagpipes, I know this is a bit of a folly. Despite a background in woodwinds (which has me understanding the fingering of the chanter pipe), my real love and passion for 40+ years has been playing bass.
Thank you for welcoming me,
Steve
