Hello from Anchorage!
Hello, и здравствуйте, from Alaska!
I found this forum last night because I asked Google about the proper length for a sporran belt, and one of the top links was to a post here asking just that question. Obviously, the question was answered fully. (I've since learned a lot about the parts of a kilt and how I might decently wear one while riding a bike!) That question arose because, living just down the road from a leathercraft store, I plan to make my own sporran and belt.
I look forward to getting to know you all, and to learning more about all the things kilt.
А, к любым славафонам, я говорю немного по-русский, потому что я изучаю русский язык в универсетете.
Edit: Yoinks! Silly me. My name is Jacob, and you all may call me by it, or any derivative thereof, I am not picky.

Well met Jacob. I hope you find all the answers about kilts here with us. We also need the input you have on the same subjects, so others may learn. Glad to have you aboard.

Answers will be found on the forum. Either by search (as I found, the web points here), or question. Sensory overload is extremely easy to achieve.
