    Hello from Ankara, Turkey!

Morning! (well, evening for most of you back in the states, it is 2am here)

I was introduced to this site by my buddy Chris. Thamks man!

I just got my kilt in the mail this week. She's the formal package deal from scotyard.com Talk about gorgeous! I can't wait to wear her!

There's probably not a big kilt crowd here in Ankara, but I might see one or two at the Burns Supper next year.

Just thought I'd say hi. HI!

    Erik

Welcome! If your the only one wearing a kilt out there, you'll be the envy of all the men who want women swooning over them. Have fun :P

thanks for the warm welcome guys!

I was thinking with the ever growing anti-american sentiment here in Turkey, the kilt might help me not stick out as an American and a Marine, it'll just help me stick out!

I just did a couple of 4 yard kilts for a wedding in Korea. (The bride is Korean.) The bride and groom are living in Turkey, which is why they wanted the lighter fabric. Maybe you'll bump into each other? Haven't got a clue which city they live in.

If there's one thing I've learned travleing the world.... it is that it's a small world.

I wouldn't doubt that I'll meet them eventually. I have a friend here who just came from a year and a half in Seoul SK, so go figure!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm... turkey. (in my best Homer Simpson voice)

You mean, there's anti-american sentiment in the world? Surely you jest!

That's because they're talking about the confined guys that wear pants! The blood doesn't flow as well as it should. Decisions are irrational. Attitudes are skewed.

You just hang around with us kilted-types and enjoy the pleasant conversation and humour.
