    Hello from another Texan!

    Hi all,

While not uninterested in kilts (I mean how could you not be interested?), I came across the site while doing some research on tartan creation. My spouse and I share a hyphenated surname and blended Scottish and Irish ancestry which prompted my looking into ways to mark our family as a new creation out of some proud histories. We are the only two Miles-Wallace in existence, at least according to a google search. So, I designed a tartan and will eventually have it woven and things made and, in all likelihood, a kilt!

Excited to hear and learn from y'all!

    Katy
