Hello from Arkansas

I have been reading posts on this website for a while and decided I should become a member. I started my in interest in kilts when I saw a pipe band for the first time when I was 14. My father hated the idea and I had to wait until I was old enough to buy my first new/used kilt at the Scottish festival. I got married this year in a Scottish themed wedding with a piper, Celtic band, and Kilts! Because of the wedding I was able to have the excuse to buy a kilt in my family tartan so I chose the Burnett of Leys dress as you can see in my picture. I now have a fine wife that even supports me in my kilt habit! My wife and I hope to go to Scotland for our honeymoon next year.

Right now we are in the middle of planning for St. Andrew's Day, Robert Burns Night, and Tartan Day.

We will be marching in the Bradford Funfest Parade Saturday morning, October 6, at Bradford, Arkansas (of course). Let us know if you and your wife can make it.
