    Hello from Austin

    I'm new to this site thanks to member "cck". I just received my first kilt after having it commissioned when I was in St Andrews last summer. Clan Arthur tartan. Looking forward to wearing it for the first time this weekend.

    Thanks to you all for the warm welcome. In regard to where a couple of you live, I'm a native Georgian who lived in Augusta for six years and Winston-Salem for one year.

    I eventually married a Texan...who was the one who pushed me to get measured for a kilt. And I thank her for it.
