Hello from Barcelona
hello everybody.
I introduce myself.
I am Richard, I live actually in Barcelona, Spain and I have a long relationship with a wonderful scottish girlfriend. For a long time I was interested in celtic/ scottish culture, in fact my first marriage honey moon trip was Scotland... IN FEBRUARY!!!!
I am life member of The college of piping in Glasgow but unfortunately I do not have enough time to visit them as I would like to do... I like wearing the scottish attire in every event I can attend, as weddings, family parties, ceremonies etc, it is a little weird here wearing the kilt but people likes and my girlfriend (as a good scottish) loves it!!!
I have my "home kilt" too, hunting stewart, really comfortable... I use it to be relaxed at home... I have other kilts (in this moment 3, governement tartan, davidson ) but they are for more formal purposes
hoping to make good friends here ;)

Re: Hello from Barcelona
from South Wales UK!
I love Barcelona, being a great Gaudi fan, and was kilted throughout on my visit three years ago! Must have confused the pickpockets in Las Ramblas something rotten!

Best to you from Chicago...you live in the city that's the subject of Robert Hughes' wonderful book which I recommend to anybody I know that can't get to sleep at night. Bless your kilted Catalan heart!

Re: Hello from Barcelona
welcome from Germany.
I've not been to Barcelona, but a friend of mine has an arts shop there and he is a member of Barcelona Pipa Club. Met several members of the club once in Switzerland. Very nice people.
