Hello everyone, my Name is Michael, I live in Munich /Bavaria. I am 52 years old and I own one Kilt. In 1999 or in the year 2000 I got interested in mens skirts and I met some (male) skirt wearers. They said a Kilt is the most iconic of mens skirts. First I was not so much interested in Kilts, but in 2015 my parents gave me some Tartan fabric as a Christmas present. I looked online and I found an instruction how to sew a Kilt, I put out my sewing machine and began my first Kilt... And I wore it everynow and then. But then I found out that the instruction was not quite good and that I made some mistakes. Again I looked online and found Dealers of Tartan fabric and links to the book The art of Kiltmaking by Barbara Tewksbury and Elsie Stuehmeyer. I ordered the book along with some Scottish Tartan fabric (Roxburgh Red muted and New York City ancient) and I started my second Kilt with 8 metres of Roxburgh Red muted. I am very excited to see, how it is going to look like and I am very curious to know how it is worn. Besides Kilts: I live in relationship and have 13-year old son who does not want me to wear "female stuff". So this is my introduction. Greeting from Munich the capital of Beer, Dirndlgwanter und Lederhosn
