Interesting that Wiki mentions predominantly Irish settlers. That's new to me. What's locally known is the large number of German settlers (resulting in Anaheim) and that this was mainly a wine-growing region (the "Orange" coming from the Royal house, not from the citrus, which wasn't grown here when the County was named).
