Hello from the Black Country

My name is Aynsley and I'm a kilt virgin.

I'm getting married in September and intend to be wearing a kilt (swmbo is totally inboard with this, it was partly her idea).

Funds are tight (as ever) and aside from knowing that I'll be wearing Black Watch tartan the whole kilt choosing thing seems bewildering to the uninitiated but I'm thinking I've come to the right place for answers.
