    Hello from central Maryland

Hi there: I just came across this site today and thought, why not! I've owned a kilt for over 15 years (Dress Gordon) and wear it on Easter Sunday and whenever else I think I can get away with it--which is not nearly often enough. Looking forward to being here, even if I may not contribute much.

    Well met and welcome Bill.

Sometimes a kilt will surprise and delight a group of folks that are not expecting it. Tonight is my wife's office (holiday) party at her bosses home, and I plan to be kilted. Her coworkers have seen me kilted for several years and I think will understand the festive mood I will bring to the party. Mine is just a point of view that may give you pause when choosing your attire for an upcoming outing.

Glad to have you with us.

    Welcome from Wisconsin!
I think you'll wear your kilt more often after reading some of these posts.
