    Hello from Chicago (sort of)

    Hey everybody,

My name is Dan and I'm a singer/songwriter and all around family man. I've always been interested in kilts but didn't have the courage to give it a try until yesterday. I've been reading a lot on here and around the web.

Anyway, I made a kilt to wear around the house because we're dealing with some crazy annoying temperatures here in Illinois. I made it out of a painter's drop cloth because it's what I had around without going to the fabric store. Took me about... 4 or 5 hours from start to finish.
