Hello from Cocoa, FL
I’d like to introduce myself to all fellow kilt wearers on the board. I came to the late a little more than a year ago. I close friend of mine has a casual (sport) kilt. Being as we’re in Florida wool would have you sweating. I asked him about it and he assured me that if I got one I would be grumpy getting into pants again.
He was right. My wife bought me a, Menzies (and also Dewar, ah hem) kilt and I wear it as much as I can. Where I live isn’t exactly the most cosmopolitan of locals, but I don’t catch any flack. Much. One has to let that roll off.
So I’m happy that I found this site. For those of the same mind, and dress, I see it as a great place. If I can be of service to you in anyway please let me know. I am an amateur historian and never get into something, no pun intended that I don’t learn all about.
My specifics are on my profile. They are vague as of now but I’m sure as I learn more, and purchase a few more kilts, I will be able to flesh it out.
And no, I’m not in the Marshal Islands. I thought it would just be fun. I’m Central Florida, Cocoa, an Old Inn’s throw away from Kennedy Space Center.
I’ll be glad to get to know you all, so say hello.
