Hello From the Cold and Wet Pacific Northwest!
Greetings and salutations to one and all! My name is Bill, and I live in a wee hamlet close to Spokane, in Washington State. I have the blood of Clan Douglas, Clan Stewart, and Clan Wallace in my veins. I am a veteran of both the Unites States Marine Corps and the United States Army (the Washington Army National Guard, to put a point on it) and am proud of both outfits, though the former does tend to take precedence over the latter...
I'm a newbie Piper, but I have Piped in Iraq, as well as piping "Amazing Grace at three memorial services thus far...
Hopefully I will contribute to the discussions here, and I am currently trying to put together the proper Kilt expected of a "Lady from Hell"!
Cheers, lads, an' confusion to the foe!

Bill: Welcome to the Rabble from Jacksonville, Florida! I am retired Air Force, but I worked in the JAG office at Ft. Leavenworth from '04-'06. While there I met and worked with a SSG Jim Kuykendall, who is now stationed at Ft. Lewis. Jim has become my "little brother" and I bought him a DCU Sportkilt a year or so back - maybe you'll spot Jim tooling around Ft. Lewis. It's always nice to hear from other veterans, active or retired!

I've been paddling about in this forum for a good part of the day, and I've seen some pretty interesting opinions, some I share, some I don't, but they are all just as valid, and the company looks like it will be quite enjoyable!
Thanks for the welcomes, and I am now off to run after those threads to which I have been itching to reply!
Cheers!
