Hello from beautiful lake Cowichan BC,
First of let me say it’s a pleasure to be here. I figured I’d introduce myself as many may have surmised by the screen name ,I am a barber by profession, I am also a blacksmith/tool maker by trade, I came to the forum to learn more about kilt construction , I dabble in shoe making and tailoring so stitching by hand is no real issue for me , and what could be more fascinating than taking on a new challenge of learning yet another age old skill . I look forward too learning from you all .

It will walk you through the whole business including stabilizers, linings, pleating, pressing, steeking... the whole ball of wax!
