Hello everyone!!
My name is Edmond, though I generally go by Ed. I am very new to all this so please forgive me if I seem a bit clueless. The short version is my family has always been very proud of our Scottish heritage and recently I became interested in my genealogy and in Scottish culture in general. Specifically... I am very interested in kilts as daily wear. Now, financially, I am a long way from being in that point but I am very excited and curious.. anyway, I look forward to interacting with this community and seeing where it takes me!!

Welcome to the "Great Rabble"!
Read lots here, learn lots, and save your cash. You'll be a lot happier if you wait and save and buy a really good kilt, rather than buying a "cheapy" and being disappointed before long, and spending more until you get something that would satisfy you. I certainly regret a couple of early purchases that ended up losing me money in the long run.
LOTS to learn, so enjoy before you decide.
Cheers!
