Hello From Fullerton California
Hello everyone,
Im very glad to have found and be counted as a member of this community. I was born and raised in southern California, and understood that I am of Scottish descent on both sides of my family, but until recently knew little else. Recently my wife, God bless her, has urged me on in the journey of researching my origin more thoroughly. I am still in this process, but am very proud of my heritage. So many facets of Scottish culture feel very comfortable and reverent to me, including highland dress. What an honor to have such attire as this, with such significance and purpose.
Anyhow, before I get out of hand , I'd like to say that it is a great pleasure to be on this forum and have the opportunity to be plugged in with everyone else here. I hope to have many opportunities enjoying the experience of getting to know you all, and I wish you a very good day.
Cheers!

Well met new friend. The best way to embrace the kilted culture is be yourself. Wearing the ensemble brings out some deep recessed being from your past and (a fragment of your bloodline anyway) surfaces where the inner Scotsman inside you emerges. Or not for everyone, I do feel that way about myself. Welcome just the same.
