    Hello from Halifax

    Hello everyone,

Just joined - thanks for having me. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I teach at a university. I decided to start wearing a kilt more-or-less full time this past summer. I am off on a research trip this fall, but am wondering how my first class in the winter will go when I show up in a kilt. I'll let you know...
    Cheers,
    Alec

and looking forward to hearing how it goes. I've been wearing it for years and can count the negative comments on a couple of fingers. Of course I do see frowns occasionally but that could be indigestion etc and have nothing to do with me. I generally have at least one positive comment every time I'm out and about.

lol..My bosses had never seen me in a Kilt and didn't know I was a Kilt wearer. I showed up at a company meeting, of course I out dressed them all. It was weird no one even batted an eye. not what I was expecting and had no negative looks or comments. Good luck, enjoy that day and also welcome to X, new user here as well
