Talking Hello, hello, hello I'm new

OK, so I’m not really a newbie. But I’ve been gone so long I feel like it I spoke to my princess today (Dirka) & she pretty much chewed me out for not posting more often. It has really been a simple matter of this; I have been BUSY.

I am still wearing kilts anytime I am not at work. I guess this makes me a semifull-time kilt wearer.

I used to be able to post from work as long as the work got done. That is still true. But now there is no time. I changed jobs in an unstable economy & made the best move of my working life. We stay busy. Lunch is spent with a sandwich & playing “catch up.” I work for a large manufacturing company as customer service rep. for the United States Northwest coast. We are part of a multinational conglomerate, about 80 companies. I am there till 7:00 Central Time to make sure I am there for the west coast customers. I telecommute from Memphis to San Francisco every day. But the work is NEVER finished at 7:00 PM so it’s 7:45 - 8:30. When I get home it’s wine or a martini (or both) & bed.

I am the only man in my department. My boss is a gorgeous mid 30’s. Tall (5‘10“) looks good in heels & knee length skirt. Her boss is 5’4’ about the same age, petite and just as pretty. They pay us well for the jobs we do & treat us like gold. Of course they expect results.

For my birthday on Thursday I am being taken out to lunch with no penalty for coming back late. That is common practice. I love my job!

I hope I can just get time to browse the forum & post a little on the weekends. I do miss you guys & gals.

    Welcome back.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Welcome back Dirk. If you have to be gone from XMTS it sounds like you have some good reasons!

Glad to hear you are doing well and still wearing the kilt

    Cheers
