Hello from Illinois!
Hello all,
I have been lurking for some time, getting a feel of all things kilted. I am new both to the kilt and to the forum. I was recently given my first kilt as a gift from my wonderful wife (a casual outfit from USA Kilts in MacIntyre; great quality!). I am very excited! I will be wearing this kilt for the occasional highland games, ren faires, etc. (and whenever else I happen to not be at work and just feel like it!). The first official outing planned is the St. Louis Ren Faire in mid May, but hopefully I will have a chance to wear it between now and then. Pictures will be forthcoming as soon as the weather cooperates. It has been beautiful outside all week, but is supposed to rain/snow on my day off!
Anyway, I wanted to say hi to everyone and become acquainted with the site.
