Hello from Illinois
After MUCH research, I have decided to purchase a 5 yard, Evans Tartan, cilt from USA Kilts! I have to say, Rocky has been more than helpful, and quite patient.

I'm starting out with a casual package, then I can wear it to bars, parties, as well as the Ren Faire. Cream Highland shirt, Red Flashes, Cream Hose. Not sure if I'm going with a standard or 2 1/2 belt. Since I'm only 5'6", I'm thinking the wider belt would be too wide.
I look forward to gaining much more knowledge and info.
Thanks!
Steve

I love my 5 yarders from Rocky!
Evans is a beautiful tartan and cream hose will look good with it.

Welcome aboard! I got my Prince Charlie jacket and vest from Rocky - he was very helpful, and the formalwear is great and was well priced.
