I bought for my first kilt a UTKilts Modern Deluxe Blackout Kilt for semi-everday wear, but plan on buying more both utilikilts and tartan kilts after I can do more research and figure out which tartan would be appropriate for my modest Scottish heritage. Only after doing a lot of research did I even find that there was a Scotsman in the woodpile somewhere hehehe. Anyway, I'm here to learn more about wearing a kilt, and to associate with others who appreciate the comfort, style and history behind a kilt.
I am retired from the U.S. Army, with tours to the Middle East beginning in '99. I couldn't list them all in my signature, so I only listed the most recent. I now work in manufacturing, and enjoy time with my Harley (Can't wait for the looks when I ride while kilted).
Thanks for allowing me, I look forward to getting to know as many people as I can!
Respectfully,
John "Rooster" Stoor
