Hello I'm a Newbie
Hello All -
my name is Shawna and this is the first Scottish forum and group I have ever joined. I am part Scottish, part German and part Danish. My grandmother carries the line of the Scots in the name of Moore, and I don't know where her original family came from. I do know that she grew up in Roseburg Oregon. I have been told that my great, great, (great?) grandfather was Major John Moore, who fought in the Battle at Bunker Hill, thus I have been told I am a Daughter of the American Revolution. I found my tartan and it's quite pretty, but I would like to know more about tartans. I hope to learn great information that will help me and my children learn about where they come from. My bucket list contains a trip to Scotland, and I hope to make that wish come true!
Thank you!

Still trying to get this forum business down, not sure what I am doing yet. Do women ever wear kilts? I think they look great on men, but just wondering.
