Hello. from Janner52
Hello everyone.
I have been lurking around X Marks for a number of years and finall decided to make the jump.
I am based in the UK Midlands and have been an enthusiastic kilt wearer for about 20 years. I am originally from the South West of England. My user name may be a clue.
I like to think of the kilt as an item of everyday clothing i.e. an alternative to trousers, not to be kept locked away for a formal occasion.
I look forward to exchanging ideas and advice with all of you.

Welcome from, Inverness-shire( and I got your clue!). Although, I know your part of the world pretty well, particularly the East side of the South West and the West side of the Midlands. If that makes any sense?I think it does!

That's exactly, how I think of kilts and kilt wearing.
I'm a Dane w/o any Scottish connection and since almost 30 years I have been wearing kilts. Having no gatherings or events where to wear a kilt, I consider it - I have to - an everyday garment.
Since my retirement 15 years ago, I wear my kilts more than I wear trousers and without the slightest of a problem - the advantage of living in a really liberal country.
