Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm definitely a kilt newbie as I've never worn a kilt but I've wanted one since I was very young. I recently got engaged to my beautiful girlfriend, so it's just the excuse I've been looking for to get myself a kilt for the wedding next year. I'm hoping to get a kilt made in the Kennedy Tartan as my mother's maiden name is Kennedy. In my initial perusal of the forums I just happened to see someones signature that said "I'm one of the other Kennedys... Poor, Protestant and Scottish" that would describe my family as well hehe.

Anyway, nice to meet you all and looking forward to being part of the community.
