Hello from Maryland
Hello to all, I live near Baltimore and I'm in law enforcement. I'm 32 and started playing the bagpipes about 11 months ago. I'm a member of the Prince George's County Pipe Band.
I have two children and my son is learning the pipes with me. I'm an immigrant from Pennsylvania and I will be purchasing my first kilt in the Pa. District tartan. With any luck I hope to compete in EUSPBA competition this fall.
I seek the wealth of information in this forum. I'm of German, French and Polish decent. However I think there is a little Scottish in us all. I've wanted to play the bagpipes since I was a child. I just received my first nickel silver engraved set of Gibson GHB and love them very much.
Take care I look forward to reading your posts.
