Welcome from Maryland. If you are doing some research you should come out to the Frederick Celtic Festival in Mt Airy on May 11th. The Lads and I will be there as well as lots of other men in kilts.

Hello Katie, and welcome to X Marks from the Eastern Shore (lower, slower Delaware).

I see that you were at the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival this past weekend; wonderful day and great weather.

There are two threads regarding that festival here and here with some pictures.

My wife and I will not be able to attend the Frederick Celtic Festival on the 11th but, we will be at the Fair Hill Scottish Games / Colonial Highland Gathering in Fair Hill, Maryland on the 18th (the following weekend). (www.fairhillscottishgames.org)

We are considering the Fair Hill Scottish Games. We have wee ones and the trip is a bit longer so it will be a game day decision on everyone's attitude. They are good in the car and they really enjoyed the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival so I suspect they'll want to go. Any chance to eat fair food and run around outside is a good plan to them.
