Hello from Mississippi

I've been lurking for some time now, but finally registered this morning and posted in the USAKilts forum. I was on the verge of ordering an off-the-rack (and inexpensive) kilt on eBay until the email conversation I had with Rocky of USAKilts yesterday. Due to his attentiveness and assistance, I ordered my first "custom" kilt this AM. I have owned a generic Sportkilt for some years now, and ordered an AmeriKilt last week, but have not made the leap to purchasing a custom kilt until today; I'm quite excited. Anyway, nice to be here! I look forward to reading (and participating) in the future. I have done quite a bit of research, and I look forward to learning more.

Any other members from Mississippi and/or New Orleans? I am an English professor at a small college in MS, but during breaks, I reside in the Garden District of New Orleans (just a 1/4 mile from the Irish House on St. Charles!).
