Hello from Music City, USA
Hello y'all. I am Steven Broomhead, Sr. from Nashville, TN. After years of wondering, I started the search on my father's side of the family. From mom, I get French, German and Dutch. I found that my great-grandfather Jonathan Broomhead married Lydia Ann Dunbar. As I traced back I found that through her and the Dunbar family I had a tie to Scotland.
This propelled my to buy my first kilt. I can't afford the Dunbar tartan so I bought a Black Watch standard kilt from Stillwater. I've yet to do more than just try it on to check the size. I am not nervous about wearing it out and about but my wife...well, she's not a happy camper. Not sure what her concerns are... Oh, well.
Some of my interests are: My Grandkids, Rugby (when I can find a broadcast), Escape Magic, Black Rifles, and ComBlock firearms.
Thank you for the addition to the Rabble,
Steven
