Hello From Nebraska
I will attempting to make my first, and hopefully not last kilt. It is being made for my friend who moved to the US from Scotland. He brought a kilt with him, but it is starting to show its age from all of the use its gotten over the years. I've read online that kilts can be make without a hem that the selvedge is actually considered the hem. My question is, will this last or will the selvedge wear out too quickly?
