Hello From New Hampshire, USA - Need Help/Question!
Hi everyone!
I've been lurking for a few days and have finally decided to sign up and join. As you can see in my title I am from New Hampshire, USA. I've lived in the New England states all my life. I've seen a few kilt wearers around where I live once or twice, but as you can guess it's rare on an every day basis. I do tend to see a kilt wearer or two when I attend anime conventions though. Anyone else here live in the state of New Hampshire?
I am looking for a specific tartan and that was one of the reasons I decided to sign up on xmarksthescot. Everyone seems really friendly and knowledgeable here. I'm assuming I'll be asking a lot of questions pretty soon, so I hope you all don't mind that. If you have time, please take a look at the thread I made about my search for a similar tartan: http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...8671&p=1160209 I need all the help I can get.
Thanks in advance for your replies and welcomes.

Hi Guy, I am a former New Hampshirite exiled in California. If I can be of help just ask. You know New Hampshire has a great state tartan, Here is a pic of the Lincoln police wearing it. what appears as gray in this pic is actually a dark green.

As afore-mentioned, welcome (again), mate.
Phil, too bad more peace officers don't kilt up. They really do look sharp.

from the Scottish Borders.
There are a few members here live in New Hampshire.
I was fortunate enough to meet up with some of them and with members from Connecticut, Maine and Massachusetts at the Loon Mountain Games at Lincoln NH in 2010. The games are held annually in September and the local police kilt up in the state tartan for the weekend.

Welcome from the highlands of Central Massachusetts, just south of usonian. We are very strongly affected by NH culture here. We often shop there for groceries and single malt scotch. Are you south of the Notch? If you are in Keene then one of the kilt-wearers was me.
