Hello from New Mexico!
Hi there! Thanks very much for allowing me to join. My sweet husband, Mr. "I hate costumes," has suddenly decided that he will attend an upcoming Renaissance Faire with me and our daughter, as long as he can wear a kilt. I'm thrilled! I'm here to research great kilts. I'm planning to make a very inexpensive one first, just to make sure he doesn't change his mind and refuse to get dressed up with us. If he likes it, I'll happily be saving to make a lovely one! I've already hit a bump in the road, due to fabric widths, so I'm very much looking forward to combing through old posts and possibly making a few of my own.

Welcome!
Welcome from another New Mexican. I have very little experience with Great Kilts so I'll let others clue you in...
I am, however, interested in the "upcoming Renaissance Faire" -- where and when?
Thanks!
Rob.

Well met and welcome dear lady. Older threads on making great kilts will be pointed out (if not me later, then some member) to make the experience better for you and him for the upcoming Ren Faire. Glad to have you with us.
Thank you Glen for the links. I can always trust you have others interests in mind. Bobby

Hi, Rob! A friend invited me to a Faire at El Rancho de las Golondrinas on September 15th and 16th. I've heard that it's a blast!
