Hello from Newcastle Australia
Hi All,
Bridgette here from Newcastle Australia, my family ventured out here from Scotland in 1841/42 and landed in Victoria. I have ties to both the Murray (Murray of Atholl) and the Hunter clans and still researching the lineages, my father is a member of both clans out here in OZ and we are proud of our heritage. The tartan we wear is the Murray of Athol modern and hope like crazy to one day get to Scotland to have a look around.

I know the area well, I grew up in a town called Toukley, just around the corner from Budgewoi. Was down that way yesterday.

Before you go to Scotland, contact the Hunter clan and arrange for a tour of the castle... (Hunters only) located in Hunterston. Definitely worth the visit! Went there with a freind about 12 years ago.
