I live in Ohio, don't own a kilt but might have one in a week or so. When a sister says what size, what design, where can I get it I have a feeling there is a reason behind it behind curiousity. I am not of any Celtic heritage that I am aware of so if there is any it is marginal at best. My wife is of the MacConnell clan descent which I understand is a change from the MacDonald name. What has brought me here is an interest in highland games, first one is in two weeks and from what I see even at the lower levels the kiltless competitors are the odd man out, so a kilting I shall go.

Good for you! Welcome from the highlands of Central Massachusetts.
Hi, Butcher, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa. I came across your request for tartan advice, and it seems you are getting some pretty good pointers. And once you have one kilt, you want another. Welcome to the addiction. Regards, Mike
