    Hello from Ohio, USA

    Greetings!

    I am a kilt newb. A few years ago, I was able to connect my near family tree with research someone else had done and discovered that at least one line of my family tree traces back to the Maitlands and Lauderdales of Scotland. That was many generations ago, but it intrigues me none the less. I am hoping this forum and its resources will help me to explore the kilted fashion "of my ancient people".
