Just wanted to stop by and say howdy. I have lurked here for a week or so, and since I seem to keep coming back, I thought I ought to register. I came across this site while doing some research into making my own 'utilikilt', and I have to say you all have been a great help in my project. So, I will also say Thankyou! to everyone here for sharing their knowlege. I see that I am very close to the USA Kilts store in Phoenixville, I will be sure to make a trip up to see it. Scott
Welcome to this rabble of kilties. Be sure to post pictures of your kilt when you finish it.
Welcome from Harrisburg.
Welcome from Virginia. I think you'll find that you like it here. Not to mention being close to USA Kilts. Could be an expensive combination.

welcome to the rabble! a few words of advice... ...be sure to share you scotch ( esp. with P1M and myself!) ...always ask Hamish for advice on how you are dressed BEFORE you leave the house... ...The kiltmakers here know everything you need to know about kilts...but only if you ask. ...Be wary of wild haggis and the "cardboard cutout" derek...they roam these parts and can be dangerous if not approached with care and a pint... ...Always wear the kilt proudly and with courage and honor...a whole lot of people died protecting the kilt (i.e. scotland), and even more fought to ensure that it is still here today. ...Before wearing a tartan, learn about the clan behind it so the kilt is less of an piece of clothing and more a piece of history. oh, and most importantly... DO NOT wear the kilt front to back!!!
GH, Greetings from Canton, OH and welcome to X-Marks !
