Hello from Roanoke, va
Been trolling around for quite a while and THOUGHT I had joined a while ago..... Ohh well. Anyway I'm Nate out of roanoke, had a kilts for over 4 years (was married in it) but gained alot of weight quick and it went into a closet for a couple of years, pulled it out recently (2 months back) after loosing quite a bit of weight and it fit!!!!!! I have since bought two utilikilts and even made a few of my own, though i freely admit mine are have a long way to go as they were my first try at making a kilt and at sewing ...... When I have some time ill post a few pics, my wife says I'm cute as I keep adding one after another and when im not in work clothes or on our Harley im wearing a kilt.
I get lots of questions, lots of looks and only 2 rude or snide comments.
my boss said IF I wanted to wear one to work that wasnt against company policy BUT (and this is a big but) I climb up on roofs frequently and have slid down a few and just dont think the kilt would protect me like my work jeans do. So not for work
Hello to all,
OH I also bought Barbs book , and like steves method which I have been reading about this weekend and cant wait to learn more. Id like to learn PROPER dress. But frankly. If my wife thinks I look good I really dont care what anyone else thinks because shes the only one I dress up for.
