I've been lurking for a few days after coming across Hamish's pictues with a referral to Xmarksthescot. I am a descendant of the Browning (borderlands), Clark both sides of my family (3 brothers; 2 went to Eastern U.S. Mother's family and 1 to Alaska Father's side) and O'Neill (possibly Dublin). I am saving for a 8yd 13oz O'Neill when I find the right maker. I have a SWK standard Black Stewart that I would wear more often if I could get the motorcycle thing figured out. On order a 5yd 13oz Hunting Stewart for my upcoming graduation with PC Jacket etc. (it will be hot in Mesa AZ in August). I'll post a picture after graduation. I most often wear Black Watch trews and 2" belt/silver buckle with a brown leather waistcoat and light grey Crail Jacket. The Crail Jacket is 40 years older than I am and still looking great. It should be a great day wear outfit with my Hunting Stewart when It arrives. I've burnt enough midnight oil. Good night.
Welcome to the X-Marks rabble, O'Neille. I see you have the addition already. We do have a 12 step program here that will assist you greatly.
Welcome from Phoenix, AZ! I have been down to Sierra Vista on business. I really liked it down there, a small desert town 10 degrees cooler than where I am. There are two other guys besides myself on here in the Phoenix area, then we have one guy in the Prescott area and one guy in Page, AZ. So the state of AZ is well represented here! If I am forgetting any AZ people, forgive me..... Do you go kilted 24 hours a day including casual tasks like shopping or do you only use your kilts for special events? I'm a Utilikilts kind of guy and wear them when I am not at work. Phil in Phoenix.
Welcome O'Neille from the heart of Silicon Valley in California! Cheers
