Hello from Southern ON, Canada
Hello!
I just joined this forum and I received a very nice little note suggesting I introduce myself on this board, so here I am!
My name is Jessica and I live in a small-ish city in Ontario, Canada. It's fairly equidistant from Toronto, Hamilton, and London.
I am half Scottish (on my mother's side), the granddaughter of a war bride who grew up in Edinburgh and a Scottish-Canadian World War Two soldier. I come as a package deal with my husband, Christopher, as we tend to combine our online presences. Chris actually has more Scottish blood than I do, although I have grown up closer to the Scottish culture and traditions than he has.
Over the past few days or so, we have been doing a lot of searching about highland dress because of an event we have coming up quickly, and I seem to keep stumbling across this forum so I thought maybe it would be a good idea to join it!

Welcome Jessica. You're in the right place for advice and opinion. Put a little note in Kilt Advice about the event you'll be headed to and its bound to drum up some interest And have a look at 1 Kilt 10 looks - a great little resource on kilt dress variations.

Well met Jessica. I hope you don't consider yourself as a proctor to your husband's kilting needs. The women members will benefit you as much as you will aid your husband's goals. Welcome to the Rabble.
