Hello from St Albert, Alberta, Canada
Just joined the site and am looking forward to reading, posting and generally finding out more about kilts in general. Have been around them all my life - just took until 3 years ago for me to wear one. Wife is a piper, daughter is a highland dance teacher, one son wore a kilt to his HS Grad and the other is going to do the same.

Greetings Jim, welcome from Mitchell, Ontario. It sounds like you have a long pedigree; so there's only one question ...what took you so long? Hope you are enjoying the snow today. It looks like the west really got blanketed this weekend..

Talk about a small world. I have an aunt living in that city to your south (and east). Although it has been many years since I've visited that area myself, I remember how the landscape was between the school my aunt taught at (Ross Sheppard), and St. Albert. No doubt, it is much more 'urbanized' these days.
Anyway, greetings from the highlands of southern Oregon.
