Hello There!
Long time reader, first time poster!
I’ve always been fascinated by kilts, but watching Outlander those kilts really got my attention. So I started looking into them, reading up on their history, how to wear them and more. But my girlfriend at first was a bit reluctant because of the price.
In a perfect twist of fate, at the same time my cousin moved to Glasgow and got engaged to his girlfriend there. Being the family photographer I got invited to their Scottish wedding which was the perfect excuse to bite the bullet and have a kilt (an a matching skirt for my girlfriend) made. It was a bit of a challenge finding a tartan we both liked (Matheson Hunting Modern), but as soon as I put it on I caught the bug. An eBay find later (Hunting Stewart) I have become a happy kilter, with a brand new made-to-measure kilt (The Angels Share) and another eBay find (Douglas) on the way. (And with this hot weather getting really close to forever renounce trousers ).
The more I look into this community the more impressed I am by the combined knowledge, and I hope to be able to contribute myself!
So, hello!

About Outlander costumes, they've been discussed here, and in fact the Outlander costumer has chimed in herself!
I recommend taking a look at these threads, there's loads of information and insights.
