Hello from Toronto:)
Greetings from Toronto, Ontario!
I've been making kilts for dancers for about a year now and am absolutely addicted to it.
I learned a lot from these boards, as well as Barb's TAoK- two wonderful resources!

Greetings KSelvage, and welcome to X Marks from Delaware, USA. Toronto is probably the nicest (in fact, the best) large city I have ever been in. My wife and I sailed there (& to nearby, New Castle) a couple of years ago, from Erie, PA.
You have already discovered the value and fun of this forum so, not much more to add. I look forward to your participation and contributions.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. Hello from Chicago....Toronto: one of my favorite places to visit (especially when I get to take the train)! Still have to get back and wear a kilt on the glass floor of the CN Tower.
