Hello from Tucson, AZ

Hello all! I am Ed from Tucson, AZ and have been wanting to purchase a kilt back while I was in the Navy, but never got around to doing so. I retired from the Navy in 2009 and moved back to Arizona, and got involved in other intrests (i.e. 501st Legion). My sister passed on a photo of the 501st Legion Kilted Brigade, and I was once again bitten to buy a kilt. I started researching kilts and came across this website and have been lurking for a while, and gaining knowledge of kilts. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Casual Pub package from USAKilts. I went with the Scruffy Wallace tartan as DKM has been a favorite band of mine for a while, and they will be here in town in a few weeks! I should be geting the kilt in the mail by the end of the week, and am anxiously eager to get it and see how it fits. I am also now saving my pennies so that I can place another order later this year and get the Navy Tartan in the Semi- Trad style.

I hope to meet more people on here from Tucson and Arizona who enjoy the kilt, and hope to continue to learn more about kilts and how to wear them and dress them up!
