Hello from upstate ny
Hello, my name is Jeff. I am a SGT with the US. Army and I am currently serving in Iraq. I am a owner of a great kilt which I take pride in pleating myself in the wee kilt style and any other styles that it can be pleated into. I am also learning to play the bagpipes and I currently am playing the practice chanter over here to kill time and to achieve my ultimate goal of playing the pipes. Please feel free to email me and give me any advie for kilt wearing or piping or if you wanna chat.

I don't know what a man in uniform, with a practice chanter in his hand, would do to the enemy, but it would scare the daylights out of me!
Wecome and thankyou for your service. Come back to us safe.

Hi, Jeff, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
Good luck with your practising. Hopefully you will be playing the pipes before you leave Iraq.
Remember that the Great Highland bagpipes are the only musical instrument regarded as a weapon of war!
Regards,
Mike
