Hello from Upstate SC.
Hello everyone,
just wanted to introduce myself to the group as I am a newbie to this group and the kilted world. My name is frank and I am from Upstate SC, USA and I was recently bitten by the kilt bug. After researching I took the plunge and ordered a budget pv kilt (Hamilton Gray) as my first training kilt. I liked it so much I purchased another (Black Watch). I just recently, as in today, got a heavyweight Irish Saffron from SWK. It seemed a bit snug so before I take the tacking out I'll debate whether to send it back for a size larger.
I just sent several blazers to the tailor to have converted to kilt jackets and will be anxiously awaiting their return. I now understand all the jonesing going on when awaiting a new kilt. It is like Christmas day each time a new one arrives. I look forward to learning from you all and am happy to be part of the group.
