Hello from Vermont!
So, let's see, I own 1 kilt myself, it was too big for my husband and too good of a deal to pass up so it became mine, in Grant modern colors. It was purchased at the NH Highland Games a few years ago but I have only worn it once. It's a bit long on me, and I'm a woman, so I don't feel 100% comfortable in it so perhaps some day I'll have it re-worked into a proper ladies skirt. My husband also owns 2 Grant kilts, one purchased from Scotweb in a 13oz weight, modern colors from Lochcarron which he wore at our wedding with a Prince Charlie and one his dad made him in a poly/cotton blend for his brother's wedding with a more renaissance feel. He also just received a black Survival UK. My husband will probably never make his own profile here so I'll be posting for the both of us I'm sure! Anyway, we like to have fun with mixing up our Scottish heritage! We add the kilt to pirate outfits and we love the steampunk aesthetic and we throw in the tartan every where we can! I look forward to perusing the forums!

Hello from me, a former very frequent visitor to VT (I slowed down when CBP stated delivering random beatings to Canucks at the border ). Colchester itself gets a lot of attention from me as being the site of VT's only Costco- I load up on books there.
Your state is by far one of the best to visit- but I keep that a secret.
