Hello from the White Mountains

Hi all,

I live in the white mountain region of New Hampshire (originally from Nebraska) with my girlfriend, and our two pets. I am a MacLeod of Lewis and have been going to gatherings and games since I was a wee lad.

I am training to compete in my first amateur heavy athletic competition next summer. I get really jazzed any time someone wants to learn about scottish culture and/or experience a highland games (it's been especially fun getting my girlfriend to eat haggis!).

I look forward to reading the posts of my fellow forum members, and hopefully being able to contribute something to the great conversations and posts about our scottish heritage.

Welcome from a fellow New Englander! I see from your pic that you were at the games this weekend. It was a great time and next year you can plan to join us at the XMarks meetup.
